Low Irritation Whole Body Formula

We wouldn’t be Lume if it wasn’t safe to use anywhere and everywhere. We want people to spray their tender parts with confidence that smelling better everywhere does not come with a sacrifice.

Our water based formula is super gentle on skin. Out of the 99 participants in our clinical study, ZERO experienced irritation—not one single person!

Low alcohol content, high quality emollients, and a small amount of caffeine keep irritation unlikely. This is a feat in and of itself since irritation is a common complaint with certain sprays on the market.

72 Hour Odor Control

Our Spray Deodorant had to live up to a well-established reputation for effectiveness. Lume Deodorant is based in science and stops odor before it starts. Like all of our deodorants, our spray is powered by Mandelic Acid—a gentle alpha hydroxy acid with an optimal pH to control odor.

Like our other deodorant options, we hired Princeton Consumer Research to conduct clinical testing, and our Invisible Spray Deodorant lives up to the 72 hour odor control you have come to expect from Lume.

Premium Ingredients

So many formulations were created to achieve the right balance of high quality ingredients and just the right fragrance levels.

Lume’s formulation is skin loving. Mandelic Acid is great because it has a low pH similar to our skin’s natural, acidic pH level. Our spray also includes skin replenishing and softening ingredients (caprylic/capric triglyceride & coco-caprylate).

Like all of our products, Lume’s Invisible Spray Deodorant is vegan and cruelty-free. Some early formulations were tested by brave employees and friends of employees, and let’s just say that some sacrifices were made in the name of science—we would like to extend our gratitude! Deodorants for humans should be tested on consenting humans, not animals.

Lume Whole Body Spray Deoodrant is aluminum free, so it is not an antiperspirant spray. Could an antiperspirant spray be in our future? Stay tuned. It’s also formulated without baking soda, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, benzene, or talc.

No Residue

No racing stripes on your shirts, no accidental oversprays, and no build up in your clothes. Lume’s Invisible Spray Deodorant is, in fact, invisible! It’s clear, and it’s completely undetectable on skin and clothes. And that is a very big deal, indeed.

Natural and Ozone Friendly Propellant

Raise your hand if you suffer trauma from school gym days as you walked through choking clouds of the cloudiest spray deodorant ever. You’ll be happy to know that Lume’s Spray Deodorant creates no troubling clouds and contains no hydrofluorocarbons which are a known problem for the environment.

Our propellant of choice is nitrogen. This is a new innovation that we are proud to implement. Nitrogen is in the fresh air we breathe—78 % of the air is nitrogen—so it is natural and completely ozone-friendly.

The can is aluminum and can be recycled indefinitely.
